1 Second Everyday: Easily remember your favorite moments

Like the name suggests, this app lets you save 1 second video clips each day and compiles them in chronological order. You can export your video at any time to make a mini movie of your favorite moments from the last week, month, year, or entire engagement. Forget to open the app for a video snap one day? No worries, the app also lets you choose from your gallery of videos and photos to paste in a memory from any day you forgot to capture. Plus, their reminder notifications have some super neat facts broken down into seconds. Like: “Lonesome George (the giant tortoise) would have racked up over 10 hours of video. Just very, very slowly.”

Pinterest: Best place to source inspiration

Pinterest kinda revolutionized wedding planning (as well as decorating your house, travel planning, personal style and kinda everything else) so I don’t think you’ll be surprised that it’s included. However, if you're looking to optimize how you use pinterest for your wedding, rather than get overwhelmed, I recommend the following approach. Make 1 wedding board and share the link with all your bridesmaids, vendors, friends or family who are helping you plan. Then, create a new “best of” section for your top picks. Move your favorite 1-3 pins for each aspect that you’re planning into this best of section. So now you’re not overwhelmed by ALL THE IDEAS but all your inspiration is still in one easy to access place. Now, don’t forget to get off pinterest and work with your vendors and co-creators to reinterpret the inspiration and create something fresh just for your wedding.

Carcassonne: Best Game to distract you from wedding planning

I LOVE the board game Carcassonne and recommend it to all my couple friends. It’s a simple and entertaining board game for 2-5 players with a TON of expansions available. With this app version you can choose to play game with your partner or any other friends asynchronously, ie: it'll notify you when it's your turn again. Plus, there’s an app only single player mode for when you need some fun time by yourself.

The Guest: Better than a wedding hashtag for collecting photos

If your friends are snap happy, this is the perfect way to collect and share everyone’s photos from your special day. The Guest, owned by The Knot, lets you quickly create your event and invite guests via your address book. Guests receive a text with a link to download the app and once installed, photos taken during the event time will auto sync to the group gallery. No special camera or uploading process needed. Just remember to ask guests to be respectful and present for the bigger moments, like your ceremony and grand entrance. Your professional photographer will be there to capture beautiful images of those can’t miss moments.
